We are excited to announce that from September 20 to October 3, 2018, Judy Carvalhal will be leading a trip to Bhutan to discover the mysteries and beauty of the last Himalayan Kingdom. Bhutan, otherwise known as the “Land of the Thunder Dragon” was only opened to outsiders in the 1970’s and has changed little over the centuries. This itinerary will showcase the highlights of this spectacular mountainous region. You will have the opportunity to visit ancient monasteries with the most exquisite Buddhist art, observe the colorful Tshechu festival, visit villages, farms and markets and experience their fiercely guarded traditions and enjoy a 6 day trek in the Dagala Lakes region.
